SPEEDY - OBEDIENCE

In August 2002 Speedy attended beginners class in obedience for the first time. We were in the winning team of Uusimaa county's retriever association (Uudenmaan noutajakoirayhdistys) when competing for the team championship in obedience in Helsinki area. In June 2003 we were members of the Finnish toller club in the Finnish team championships in Pihtipudas. Still cant believe it but we won our class! Today he competes in elite class. We have some problems caused by his "hot hot" temperament. He is getting better, so good results can be expected .... in the future. I love his willingness to work and it is utmost fun to train him. Working itself is fun for him and he hardly needs any motivation. His style of work is more border collie style than retriever style.
