1.5. toller working test

On 29th April Team Redadict attended an (unofficial) working test. Our team consisting of Emmi & Piina (R. Boot camp Commander), Riikka & Huikka (R. On the Crocks) and me with Bitti finished third! I absolutely feel very proud! The girls have done good job with their dogs. Thanks and congrats!

In individual competition Riikka & Huikka finished second with second prize. Bitti did a marvelous job I can be proud of and hot a first prize and finished fourth!

A bit worse news is that Woima (R. Cowboy with Boots) has an official hip score of B/C. Very sorry for that... Luckily his elbows and patellas are clear.

15.4. Bitti BOS in Vaasa

Bitti was BOS and got a CACIB in Vaasa int Show, again marvelously handled by Marika Berg (Thank You!)! BOB and BIG-3 went to Ramon. Congratulations!

8.4. Bitti BOS in Lappeenranta, Naatti & Into mated

Naatti has been mated successfully and now we are crossing our fingers for a nice litter two months from now.

While I was chaperoning Naatti and Into, Bitti travelled to Lappeenranta show where she was BOS. Thanks for Saija for taking her there and Marika for showing her!

8.4. health news

Now all of Daisy's pups have been x-rayed. We hare still waiting for Aapa's and Woima's results. taija's results are back. Unfortunately the result was not as good as possible and her hips are B/C.

27.3. moving forward

Naatti has started her season and we can move forward with out litter plans! Mating will take place around Easter. If everything goes well the pups will be ready to go to their new homes in the beginning of August.

Naatti has been selected as Blood tracking newcomer for 2011 in Newland's Retriever organization :)

18.3.2012 bitti obedience champion!

On Saturday we drove to Varkaus together with Laura. Myrkky started for the first time in winners class. Even though we both were a bit disoriented and nervous we pulled enough points to take a first prize and even won our class. Laura and Daisy started in the same class and got a very good second prize despite one zero. they were still a thrill to watch :)
Bitti started in elite. did nice work and got enough points for first prize. That was her third so she become obedience champion!

3.3 show in Kouvola

Pekka Teini judged in Kouvola FCI groups show. In juniors Myrkky's daughter Stella, Redadict Moody Mermaid, got EXL but was left without CK because of her loose movement. Daisy's kids Huikka (R. On the Crocks) and Piina (R. Boot Camp Commander) both got VG. Daisy (Foxgrove's Canadian Sunrise) herself got EXL with CK. Our Naatti finished BOS!

12.2 obedience and shows

Bitti's turn to work this weekend! On Saturday we competed in elite obedience in Kotka. Despite my mistake, leading to zero points, in one of the moments we got together a first prize. Bitti felt really good all the time and that made me really happy. On Sunday she won champion class and become second best bitch in a group show in Lohja. Hans Lehtinen was judging. Also Stella put of M&M litter was there and she won junior class with Very Good. Good start for her!

In the end of January Myrkky won Champion class with Excellent in Turku. Rune Fagerström judged.

15.1  OBEDIENCE IN VEIKKOLA

Today we competed in Elite Obedience with Bitti. We got together 289, 5 points, a HP and first prize. We had some same problems as last time but we are on the right track anyway. I hope we will achieve two more first prizes this winter and spring. Let's see how it goes.

8.1. So close

At the beginning of the year we made a little tour to Gothenburg and MyDog show. We had lots of fun and met some nice people so the trip was worth it even though the jackpot has to be taken home some other time. On the first show day Lilian Jonsson judged. Bitti was fourth best champion with a CK. Myrkky was definitely too light for her so she got a Very Good. On the Second day Dan Eriksson judged. He did not like Myrkky either. Bitti showed herself nice and finished second best bitch (won champion class) and got reserve-CAC and reserve-cacib. So it was really, really close. It was really, really close. Maybe next time!

In December we celebrated two birthdays. On 20.12 Myrkky turned three and on 17.12 Tiitus turned eight. Congrats to all siblings as well!
