She comes from my own breeding. After one thing had lead to another I had leased Nordwart Odette "Oodi", sister to my own male Speedy. The original plan was for her owner to raise this litter which was to be sired by my male Kössi. But as I said, one thing lead to another... The litter was born right before Christmas. Originally there were four pups, that is three females and one male. Unfortunately only Myrkky and her sister Ready are still alive. The third female and the male were put down shortly after being born due to a large cleft palates and opening in belly. That opening was like a huge hernia, only large enough to some guts to come out. Loosing two of them was a shock! This was supposed to be my dream come true and right after birth there is something really sad going on. For weeks I tried to find out what could the reason for these problems. Solution: no-one knows. Of course I was hoping to be able to keep a potential puppy form this litter. What to do? Even more thinking was done and the final decision was that she gets to stay for now. If she is excellent in every aspect there might be a litter after her. Time will tell...

So far (by April 09) she has been exactly what I hoped for. Brains and beauty! At least according to my a bit bios opinion :) Maybe you will hear from her in the future as well... What we have learned by now (July 09) she is very fast yet relaxed and silent, very spontaneous and birdy, a bit suborned but still obedient and likes to work with her handler.
