Kössi was born February 18, 1999. When we bought him we had no big plans, but just wanted to have a nice dog to do long walks with. At that time I was busy with my studies and horses. Somehow we got to know other tollerowners and they encouraged us to start training for the retrieving test, going to shows etc. Today our tollers are beloved family members and companions in all sorts of hobbies and having dogs has become more or less our lifestyle...

Kössi is very easy in the house. Mostly he just enjoys life resting down or observes what we people do. But when it is time to go out he is always ready! He is very social towards other people and dogs. He is very self confident and perhaps that is why he newer gets into a fight with other dogs. He rather turns away than takes part in an arouse. That is something I really appreciate. I would hate to be forced to be on my toes all the time. Even males coming into our home is no problem for him. Although now that he has gotten older and his own rest and piece has become more important it may happen that young bullies are told where their place is ;-)
